USE OF COPYRIGHTED AND TRADEMARKED MATERIALS
The words “TIP Model™” are trademarked and the “™” superscript must include the ™ following the use of it. Any published use or further discrimination of the intellectual property identified above should be approved by SBHG and the Stars Training Academy. All unauthorized use is prohibited. By entering this contract, you agree that the use of such material will only be at the direction and/permission of SBHG.
The use of Stars Behavioral Health Group’s (“SBHG”) intellectual property and trademark require proper citation and credit for SBHG’s ownership and proprietary interest. SBHG holds and enjoys exclusive and propriety ownership of the Transition to Independence Model (TIP Model™). This includes the TIP Model™ and the materials developed to support the dissemination of the TIP ModelTM. Further, SBHG owns the trademarks “NNYT”, “TIP ModelTM”, “TIP-Informed”, “Full TIP Implementation”, “TIP Accredited”, “TIP Certified”, TIP Site-Based Trainer”, “TIP Fidelity assessment”, “TIP (Regional) Fidelity Assessor”, “TIP Modules,” “TIP Core Practices”, “TIP Transition Domains”, and “TIP Master Trainer”.
Any use of the above trademarked words, and phrases or representation, without permission, is unlawful and in violation of SBHG’s rights, including but not limited to, statutory and common law protections against copyright and trademark infringements.
The only acceptable use of TIP Model™ materials on the user’s program materials, training documents, marketing efforts, and website is if, with SBHG’s express written consent, the user clearly and explicitly attach SBHG trademark and copyright acknowledgement and a link to the TIPstars.org website to each and every inclusion with any written, verbal or visual media produced by the user’s organization that references the TIP Model or any services offered based on the TIP Model™.
Further, if the user receives training and/or consultation services from SBHG on the TIP Model™ the user must continue to give ownership credit on any advertising through the use of the TIP trademark.
